FAQ
Main Meals are provided, (Menu below) but please bring additional food, drinks and snacks for the kids and yourselves
Campsites are NOT powered, the central power supply is for the fridges, stereo, kitchen, wifi, lazier lights, disco balls, etc (charging phones/gadgets etc is fine)
Charging auxiliary batteries, we have a little/quiet Honda generater (1KVA) and powerful CTEC smart charger (25amp) which is perfect for charging your batteries
Cutlery, plates & bowls provided, please bring water bottles/cups/mugs for yourself and kids. All washing up is shared by the villagers
Water Safety, be aware a spring fed creek flows through the camp ground. Kids should be supervised at all times and the wearing of floaties (eg Waho Vests) for the little ones is encouraged.
Drinking water, flows directly from a mountain spring in the Belthorpe National Park bordering the farm. This water is also used in the amazing outdoor shower which is gas heated on demand.
Weather, May is a great time to Glamp at Maleny. Sunny days and cooler nights with average temperatures between 12-24°C. Humidity is low and generally less chance of rain than the summer months. “There’s no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing” Sir Edmund Hillary
Vehicle safety
As there is large number of kids in the campground we restrict vehicle access for the safety of all. When you arrive if you could please park in the external car park and walk in to find your camp site. The four wheel motorbike is an easy and safer way to ferry your gear. If you have a camp trailer, caravan, RV or have to drive in the camp ground we insist you always use a minimum of two adult spotters, who are to walk in front and behind your vehicle. (speed limit (1km/h) = slow walk)
